This is so awesome. The colors are so rich and saturated it almost doesn't look like watercolor at all.

Thank you! That's the exact effect that I go for with all my pieces. I love how you can use watercolor in so many different ways!

Thanks!
And yea, I use watercolor really heavily, So I get the more saturated colors. But its Watercolor and a little colored pencil.
I used marker when I first went professional, but after seeing my originals fade in the sunlight of out door shows I switched to watercolor, which is more stable. :D

It sucks, and I did weeks of research on inks before I decided that I had to switch. People were comparing the prints to the originals, and the prints were starting to look better. Anything with a Dye base will break down in the sun, and certain colors more then others. Yellows and blues are REALLY bad. Yellows would disappear completely and blue would fade to gray.
With all the changes to ink recently, that might change. Pigment based inks are being released for printers, and I'm hoping that they will move to marker.

I knew nothing about watercolor when I started, and I'm still light years away from knowing what I should. Just watched a lot of youtube vids, read many MANY watercolor books, and jumped in :)
my first several paintings were total busts that will never see the light of day, but as with everything them more I paint the better I get :D
